About Me

I’d like to share a little bit about my education & training and why I love doing what I do. I hold a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer University, School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA as well as a B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies from Samford University. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, families, and couples in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, trauma, relationship concerns and general stress. Specifically, I’ve earned a certification in EMDR, a style of therapy recognized by the American Psychiatric Association that enable people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress resulting from troubling life experiences. Additionally, I have training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which primarily works to restore romantic relationships and has been found to be effective between family members as well.

I admire my clients and personally enjoy seeing their journey to feeling more satisfied and peaceful in life. It’s my commitment to work side by side with you to find the path of change that works for you personally. We’re all different and I conduct therapy with this in mind. I don’t believe therapy should be a one size fits all, and its my duty to facilitate this.

I’d like to invite you to my judgement free environment to explore, learn, heal and grow.  My desire is to help guide you to a life of contentment and peace. I look forward to being a part of your journey.
